These runners feature 9-patch blocks set on-point with patchy setting triangles and dark borders that really make the blocks pop! Dark patches, strategically placed on the long sides of each setting triangle, contrast with the light and medium patches framing the long sides of the runner. The different 9-patch blocks are easily made from just three basic units. For accuracy, a foundation piecing pattern is provided for the centers. Use the block layouts provided or make up your own! For a quick version, cut squares from a theme fabric or use orphan blocks that finish to 9" or 12". Complete, accurate, easy to follow directions with abundant diagrams included. Experience with rotary cutting and basic foundation piecing techniques necessary. This is an advanced beginner to intermediate level project.
